Ezekiel 39:10
"and they shall not take any wood out of the field, neither shall they cut any out of the forests, but they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall plunder those that plundered them, and spoil those that spoiled them, says the Lord."
Does God endorse robbery in Ezekiel 39:10?
Ezekiel 39:10 states: 'And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign LORD.'
Some critics take this as a case of God endorsing or ordering robbery. However, it is rather a case of prediction, not ordering. God is simply stating the events that will inevitably unfold as justice takes its course, rather than commanding an unethical action.
