A fragmentary Hebrew parchment scroll from the late Hasmonean or early Herodian period containing portions of the Book of Genesis. It preserves parts of Joseph's narrative in Egypt, specifically chapters 41–43 and 45, detailing his rise to power and reconciliation with his brothers.
Papyrus Chester Beatty V
Dating to the 3rd century AD, this manuscript is one of the oldest surviving substantial copies of the Book of Genesis in Greek. It contains portions of sixteen chapters, providing an important early look at how the Scriptures were read and copied by early Christian communities.
