Matthew 12:42
""[The] Queen of [the] South will rise up with this generation at the judgment and will condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something greater than Solomon is here."
If Solomon was the wisest, how could Jesus be greater?

If this is true, how could Jesus be described as one greater than Solomon? The question presents a false dilemma, since it is spoken by God to Solomon, and God was already greater than Solomon at the time. The pledge is obviously within a contextual limitation, and that is stated in verse 13: 'among the kings'. Thus, Christ as the eternal Son and King of Kings far surpasses Solomon.
