Matthew 6

Matthew 6:5

""When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full."
Does Paul contradict Jesus about lifting up hands in prayer?

Doesn't Paul contradict Jesus here when he tells us to lift up our hands while praying? No, because Jesus' words are an instruction against public prayer, done for the purpose of being noticed ("that they may be seen of men"). This has nothing to do with modes or positions of prayer.
