Surah 10:104

"Say: ‘People! If you are in doubt about my religion, (know that) I do not serve those whom you serve instead of God, but I serve God, the One who takes you. I have been commanded to be one of the believers.’"

Verse 104

قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن دِينِي فَلَآ أَعۡبُدُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنۡ أَعۡبُدُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمۡۖ وَأُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Say: ‘People! If you are in doubt about my religion, (know that) I do not serve those whom you serve instead of God, but I serve God, the One who takes you. I have been commanded to be one of the believers.’

Verse 105

وَأَنۡ أَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفٗا وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

And: ‘Set your face to the religion (as) a Ḥanīf, and do not be one of the idolaters.

Verse 106

وَلَا تَدۡعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَۖ فَإِن فَعَلۡتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذٗا مِّنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Do not call on what can neither benefit nor harm you, instead of God (alone). If you do, surely then you will be one of the evildoers.

Verse 107

وَإِن يَمۡسَسۡكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرّٖ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن يُرِدۡكَ بِخَيۡرٖ فَلَا رَآدَّ لِفَضۡلِهِۦۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

If God touches you with any harm, (there is) no one to remove it but Him, and if He intends for you any good, (there is) no one to turn back His favor. He smites with it whomever He pleases of His servants. He is the Forgiving, the Compassionate.’

harm only come from Allah alone and no one shares with His power over these things. Therefore, He is the One Who deserves to be worshipped alone, without ascription of partners.

Concerning His statement,

Quoted Scripture
"And He is the Pardoning, the Merciful."

This means that He is forgiving and merciful towards those who turn to Him in repentance, regardless of what sin the person has committed. Even if the person associated a partner with Allah, verily Allah would forgive him if he repented from
