Surah 10:3
10.3 – Surely your Lord is God, who created the heavens and the earth in six days
Just as the change of content and tone at the beginning of Sūra 8 was worthy of special note, so is the change from the battle atmosphere of Sūra 9 to the comparatively placid setting of Sūra 10.
The theme of Allah as Creator (10:3–6) is strong in many sūras that Muslims call “Meccan” and is often beautifully expressed. This passage draws attention to the “signs” of Allah’s presence (vv. 5–6). The theme of creation echoes an important theological emphasis of the Bible and seems to be a theme common to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
The Quran says that there is no intercession with God except with his permission. See the analysis of verses on intercession at 39.44.
