Surah 10:41
"If they call you a liar, say: ‘To me my deed, and to you your deed. You are free of what I do, and I am free of what you do.’"
10.41 – You are free of what I do, and I am free of what you do
The work of the messenger in this sūra – as in many sūras of the Quran – is to recite the message faithfully. He gives freedom to the listeners to respond, does not compel people to believe (v. 99), and waits patiently for Allah to act (v. 109).
