Surah 16:125

"Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good admonition, and dispute with them by means of what is better. Surely your Lord – He knows who goes astray from His way, and He knows the ones who are (rightly) guided."

The messenger encounters much resistance to his preaching, but the Quran counsels him to argue ( jādala ) with his audience in the best way. This is great advice for anyone who makes a case for the truth.
