Surah 2:248
"And their prophet said to them, ‘Surely the sign of his kingship is that the ark will come to you. In it is a Sakīna from your Lord, and a remnant of what the house of Moses and the house of Aaron left behind. The angels (will) carry it. Surely in that is a sign indeed for you, if you are believers.’"

The Arabic word Sakīna may bring to mind the late Hebrew shekhīnā (found in the Jewish Talmud, not the Bible). The Hebrew term refers to the presence of God in the tabernacle and is thought by some scholars to express the concept of “glory” (Heb. kabōd) in Exodus 40:34–5. In the Quran, all six occurrences of Sakīna appear in battle contexts (also 9.26, 40; 48.4, 18, 26).
