Surah 26

Surah 26:14

"And they (also) have a crime against me, and I fear they will kill me.’"

26.14 – And they (also) have a crime against me, and I fear they will kill me
Moses notes to God that the Egyptians have a sin ( dhanb ) against him. Then when Moses tries to establish his presence before Pharaoh, Pharaoh reminds Moses about the “crime,” and Moses replies that he did it “when I was one of those who had gone astray” ( al-ḍāllīn , v. 20).
See the analysis of the sins of prophets and messengers at Q 48.2.
