26.23 – Pharaoh said, “ What is the Lord of the worlds? ”
The names that Moses uses for God in Pharaoh’s presence are worth noting: “Lord” (v. 21), “Lord of the worlds” ( rabb al- ‘ ālamīn , v. 16), “Lord of the heavens and the earth” (v. 24), “your Lord and the Lord of your fathers” (v. 26), and “Lord of the East and the West” (v. 28).
