26.65 – We rescued Moses and those who were with him
The language of salvation ( anjā ) appears in several passages in this sūra, here in a story of Moses and later in stories of Noah and Lot. Frequently the deliverance of the messenger and “those with him” is accompanied by the destruction of those who resisted the message (e.g., v. 66). See “Salvation in the Quran”.
