"Certainly We gave David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, ‘Praise (be) to God, who has favored us over many of His believing servants!’"

The Quran introduces David and Solomon once more (see 21.78–82), but the following substantial passage (27.16–44) is really all about Solomon. Their “knowledge” includes the language of birds (v. 16).
