Surah 27:45
"Certainly We sent to Thamūd their brother Ṣāliḥ: ‘Serve God!’ And suddenly they were two groups disputing each other."
27.45 – Certainly We sent to Thamūd their brother Ṣāliḥ
This version of the story of Ṣāliḥ and Thamūd (vv. 45–53) is almost completely different from the other five versions of the story in the Quran, lacking the distinctive “camel of Allah” and reference to the particular punishment that came to the people.
