Surah 3

Surah 3:84

"Say: ‘We believe in God, and what has been sent down on us, and what has been sent down on Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit.’"

This verse seems to place what is “sent down upon us” on the same level with the pre-Islamic revelations. To what extent has the Muslim community demonstrated faith in pre-Islamic revelations? Has it indeed made “no distinction” between what is “sent down upon us” and the pre-Islamic revelations?
