Surah 35

Surah 35:1

"Praise (be) to God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, (who) makes the angels messengers having two, and three, and four wings. He adds to the creation whatever He pleases. Surely God is powerful over everything."

35.1 – (who) makes the angels messengers having two, and three, and four wings
In the Quran, angels too are messengers ( rusul , sing. rasūl ).

This sūra appeals to humankind (v. 3) to respond appropriately to the signs of the Creator’s power and provision. It warns of the consequences of denying the message in this world and the next. It reassures the messenger with claims that Allah sends him and inspires his recitation, and states that most people resist both the messengers and their message.
This and many other sūras give the impression that various repeated prophetic-sounding materials have been brought together without further organization.
