Surah 39:5
"He created the heavens and the earth in truth. He wraps the night around the day, and wraps the day around the night, and He has subjected the sun and the moon, each running (its course) for an appointed time. Is He not the Mighty, the Forgiver?"

This verse begins the first of several passages about creation in the sūra (vv. 5–7, 21, 38, 62–63). The appropriate human response is to be thankful. A noteworthy statement in this passage is that Allah “creates you in the bellies of your mothers” (v. 6).
