Surah 4:105
"Surely We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, so that you may judge between the people by what God has shown you. Do not be an advocate on behalf of the treacherous."
4.105 â Surely We have sent down to you the Book with the truth
Immediately after the many commands from the midst of battle (vv. 71â104), the Quran claims to âsend downâ the book (kitÄb) to the messenger and give to him authority to judge human behavior. This is another example of the seemingly self-conscious âmessengerâ passages.
