4.158 – No! God raised him to Himself
The Quran says that the Jews did not crucify ‘Īsā but that Allah raised ‘Īsā to himself. Most Muslims believe in an ascension of ‘Īsā without a resurrection from the dead because they take the previous verse to mean that ‘Īsā did not die.
