Surah 4:172
"The Messiah does not disdain to be a servant of God, nor will the angels, the ones brought near. Whoever disdains His service and becomes arrogant – He will gather them to Himself – all (of them)."
4.172 – The Messiah does not disdain to be a servant of God
“Servant” translates the same Arabic word that also means “slave.” This verse may connect to the series of verses in the Quran in which ‘Īsā denies his own deity. See the analysis of these verses at 43.64.
