Supporting Verses
Surah 13:11 → "For him (there is) a following, before him and behind him, who watch over him by the command of God. Surely God does not change what is in a people, until they change what is in themselves. And when God wishes evil for a people, (there is) no turning (it) back for them. They have no ally other than Him."
Surah 5:55 → "Your only ally is God, and His messenger, and the believers who observe the prayer and give the alms, and who bow."
Surah 82:10 → "Surely (there are) indeed watchers over you,"
Surah 9:71 → "The believing men and the believing women are allies of each other. They command right and forbid wrong, they observe the prayer and give the alms, and they obey God and His messenger. Those – God will have compassion on them. God is mighty, wise."

Is God the only ally and protector for humans? Some verses state that believers have no ally, helper, or protector other than God. However, other verses indicate that angels, messengers, and fellow believers can also act as allies, watchers, and protectors in this life and the hereafter.

Surah 32:4 → "(It is) God who created the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, in six days. Then He mounted the throne. You have no ally and no intercessor other than Him. Will you not take heed?"
Surah 4:45 → "God knows about your enemies. God is sufficient as an ally, and God is sufficient as a helper."
