Surah 42:52

"In this way We have inspired you (with) a spirit of Our command. You did not know what the Book was, nor (what) belief (was), but We have made it a light by means of which We guide whomever We please of Our servants. Surely you will guide (people) to a straight path,"

42.52 – In this way We have inspired you (with) a spirit of Our command
Immediately after verse 51, the Quran asserts that Allah inspires the messenger (as at vv. 3, 7). The expression “spirit of Our command” also appears at 16.2 and 40.15 (cf. 17.85), where it seems to relate to the messenger’s task of warning.
