"When they had angered Us, We took vengeance on them and drowned them – all (of them)!"

Surah 28:40 → "So We seized him and his forces, and tossed them into the sea. See how the end was for the evildoers!"
Opposing Verses
Surah 10:92 → "Today We rescue you with your body, so that you may be a sign for those who succeed you. Yet surely many of the people are indeed oblivious of Our signs.’"
Does the Quran state that Pharaoh was drowned or saved? Several verses state that God drowned Pharaoh and his forces in the sea, while another verse states that God rescued Pharaoh's body to serve as a sign for future generations.
