Surah 45:1
"Ḥā Mīm."
Allah displays his signs before people in the hope that they will be thankful. However, most people do not respond appropriately to the signs; therefore, punishments of various kinds loom ahead of them. This sūra assures readers that the Creator will judge people justly on “the day” and then devotes most of its text to describing disbelievers and their fate.
