Surah 46

Surah 46:1

"Ḥā Mīm."

Doing good to one’s parents is the theme featured in the middle of this sūra (v. 15–18). Those who do so are promised a special reward according to verse 16. Otherwise, this sūra repeats many of the themes that have been featured in many sūras since Sūra 10: the power of the Creator, a challenge to those who call on others besides Allah, audience resistance to the recitations of the messenger, the Quran’s reassurance to the messenger, and reward and punishment for human deeds on the Day of Resurrection.
