Surah 47

Surah 47:2

"But those who believe and do righteous deeds, and believe in what has been sent down on Muḥammad – and it is the truth from their Lord – He will absolve them of their evil deeds, and set their case right."

47.2 – and believe in what has been sent down on Muḥammad
The name Muḥammad appears only four times in the Quran. The final two occurrences come here at the beginning of Sūra 47 (v. 2) and at the end of Sūra 48 (v. 29). These verses form a kind of parenthesis around the contents of the two sūras.
This is the only verse in the Quran that explicitly connects the language of revelation (tanzīl) to Muhammad. The verse claims that the recitation “has been sent down on Muhammad” and that it is the truth. See a summary on the four occurrences of “Muhammad” at 48.29.
