Surah 47:20
"Those who believe say, ‘If only a sūra were sent down.’ But when a clearly composed sūra is sent down, and fighting is mentioned in it, you see those in whose hearts is a sickness looking at you with the look of one who faints at the point of death. Woe to them!"
47.20 – But when a clearly composed sūra is sent down, and fighting is mentioned in it
This verse claims that a unit of recitation (sūra) mentioning fighting (qitāl) is “sent down” by Allah. Some of the believers seem to object, and they are portrayed here as having a sickness in their hearts. See “Fighting and Killing in the Quran”.
