This sūra starts out very much like the previous sūra, with an opening oath leading to a promise of judgment to come. One difference is that the verses in this sūra provide much more detail about future delights to be enjoyed by “the ones who guard (themselves)” (v. 17). As for those who call the preaching of the messenger a lie, the sūra asks a long series of questions to challenge and warn them.
