Surah 54:12
"and made the earth gush forth with springs, and the water met for a purpose already decreed."
Unique among the Quran’s seven versions of the Noah story, this description of the flood is very similar to the biblical account at Genesis 7:11. Other quranic versions, however, use the expression “the oven boiled” (11.40; 23.27).
