Surah 59:1
"Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies God. He is the Mighty, the Wise."
Sūra 59 includes another example of a quranic passage that has been closely connected with a particular event in the Muslim story of Islamic origins.
The sūra itself gives no details of time, place, or people; “People of the Book” is the closest it comes to identifying the actors. In Muslim narratives, this sūra is intertwined with the story of the expulsion of the Banū Naḍīr, a Jewish tribe in Medina (Raids, 186–88; Sīra, 437–39; cf. History, 7:156–61).
