Surah 6:31
"Lost (are) those who call the meeting with God a lie – until, when the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly, they say, ‘Alas for us, because of what we neglected concerning it!’ They bear their burdens on their backs. Is it not a fact that evil is what they bear?"

The Day of Resurrection and what will take place afterwards is a very important topic in the Quran. References to the “Day” or the “Hour” (as in this verse) become especially frequent in Sūras 11–46.
