Surah 62:5
"Those who have been loaded down with the Torah, (and) then have not carried it, are like a donkey carrying books. Evil is the parable of the people who have called the signs of God a lie. God does not guide the people who are evildoers."

The possessors of divine revelation do not benefit from it unless they learn and practice what is written. The following verses then directly address the Jews to assert that they will face judgment (vv. 6–8).
