Surah 66:4
"If both of you turn to God (in repentance), both your hearts are (well) inclined, but if both of you support each other against him, surely God – He is his Protector, and Gabriel (too), and the righteous among the believers, and beyond that the angels are (his) supporters."
66.4 – He is his Protector, and Gabriel (too)
The name of Gabriel (jibrīl) appears only three times in the Quran: 2.97, 98; and 66.4. Here Gabriel seems to be on the side of the prophet as part of a threat against two of his wives.
