Surah 67:5
"Certainly We adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and made them missiles for the satans – and We have prepared for them the punishment of the blazing (Fire)."
Astronomy
The verse describes stars (giant balls of nuclear gas) as missiles thrown at eavesdropping devils. This conflates stars with meteorites (small rocky debris), pointing to an ancient misunderstanding that 'falling stars' were literal stars dropping out of the sky.
