This sūra is mainly about punishment on the Day of Judgment, and it approaches the theme through a kind of parable about the owners of a garden who are about to harvest its fruit. They neglect to glorify the Lord, and the next morning the fruit is all gone. According to this sūra, the punishment in the hereafter will be much worse.
