تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ
The angels and the spirit ascend to Him in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years.
وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمٗا
and friend will not question friend.

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ
and those who keep their pledges and their promise(s),

Is every person among them eager to enter a Garden of Bliss?
كَلَّآۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ
By no means! Surely We have created them from what they know.
فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغَٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَٰدِرُونَ
I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests! Surely We are able indeed
عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيۡرٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ
to exchange (others who are) better than them – We are not (to be) outrun!
فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
So leave them! Let them banter and jest, until they meet their Day which they are promised,
