Surah 72

Surah 72:23

"(I bring) only a delivery from God and His messages.’ Whoever disobeys God and His messenger, surely for him (there is) the Fire of Gehenna, there to remain forever."

72.23 – whoever disobeys Allah and His messenger
Associating the messenger with Allah for obedience is unusual for a sūra of this type and seems out of tune with verse 21 and the first part of verse 23. In any case, the punishment for disobedience comes not in this world but in the hereafter.
