وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ

And the earth, after that, He spread it out.

Historical Error
This verse, in conjunction with its Tafsir, exposes a major scientific and cosmological blunder by claiming the Earth was created before the heavens (the universe), and only 'spread out' afterward. Modern astrophysics confirms that the universe and its stars existed billions of years before the Earth was formed, demonstrating that the Quranic timeline relies on an outdated, geocentric view of creation rather than divine scientific accuracy.

وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَرۡسَىٰهَا

– and the mountains, He anchored it (to them) –

Historical Error
The Quran describes mountains as being 'fixed firmly' or anchored to stabilize the earth. However, modern geology has proven that mountains are formed by the volatile collision of tectonic plates and volcanic activity—they are the result of the Earth's crust being dynamic and unstable, rather than stabilizing weights set down to keep the Earth firm.
