Surah 8:61
"If they incline toward peace, you incline toward it (as well). Put (your) trust in God. Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing."
8.61 – If they incline toward peace, you incline toward it (as well)
In this battle, if the enemy is willing to agree to terms, the messenger must also “incline toward peace.” Elsewhere, the Quran commands the “believers” that if the battle is going their way, they must not “grow weak and call for peace” (47.35).
