82.10–11 – Surely (there are) indeed watchers over you, honorable, writing

Recording angels keep track of each person’s deeds. Each will receive either a reward or a punishment on the Day of Judgment (v. 15). Verse 14 gives the name jaḥīm, here translated “Furnace,” for hell.
