83.25 – They are given a pure, sealed wine to drink
The Quran shows an inconsistent attitude toward wine. In this verse wine is one of the rewards in heaven, similar to 47.15. Wine is a benefit in 16.67. Elsewhere, wine is said to cause more sin than benefit for humankind (2.219; 5.90).
