Surah 85:1
"By the sky full of constellations,"
The quranic “doctrine of scripture” is not given in a systematic way anywhere in the Quran, so scholars have worked it out from scattered verses. This sūra’s mention of a “guarded Tablet” provides an opportunity for a consideration of that doctrine.

85.1 – By the sky full of constellations
A series of oaths leads to the wish that the “companions of the Pit” be punished in hell (v. 4). The people in view took vengeance on the believers simply because they believed (v. 8). Those who persecute believing men and women will be punished in Gehenna (v. 10).
