"As for the human, whenever his Lord tests him, and honors him and blesses him, he says, ‘My Lord has honored me.’"

– As for the human, whenever his Lord tests him

When the Lord tests humans by restricting their provisions, they fail the test because they say that the Lord despises them. They love wealth (v. 14), neglect the orphan and the poor, and apparently themselves devour the inheritance of the poor (v. 19).
