Surah 9:90
"The excuse-makers among the Arabs came to get permission for themselves, and those who lied to God and His messenger sat (at home). A painful punishment will smite those of them who disbelieve."
The “Arabs” in this passage (vv. 90–101) are often described as nomadic Bedouin.
