to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called [as] saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.
being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath [of God] through Him.
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to him who thinks anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and round about as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
who will also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
so that, just as it is written, "LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD."
each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is [to be] revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work.
Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, [but wait] until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of [men's] hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God.
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit [with Him].
Only, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this manner let him walk. And so I direct in all the churches.
You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.
And so, by sinning against the brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.
Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?
In the same way [He took] the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink [it], in remembrance of Me."
But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.
So also it is written, "The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL." The last Adam [became] a life-giving spirit.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
For even if I boast somewhat further about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be put to shame,
And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
since you are seeking for proof of the Christ who speaks in me, and who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.
For this reason I am writing these things while absent, so that when present I [need] not use severity, in accordance with the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
Paul, an apostle (not [sent] from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),
For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but [I received it] through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us-- for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE "--
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
AND HE CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHO WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR;
Therefore it says, "WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVE A HOST OF CAPTIVES, AND HE GAVE GIFTS TO MEN."
For this reason it says, "Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you."
knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.
For by Him all things were created, [both] in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created through Him and for Him.
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
Whatever you do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.
and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, [that is] Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.
Now may our God and Father Himself and Jesus our Lord direct our way to you;
and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also [do] for you;
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of [the] archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
I adjure you by the Lord to have this letter read to all the brethren.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;
comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil [one].
To Timothy, [my] true child in [the] faith: Grace, mercy [and] peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service,
It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost [of all].
who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony [given] at the proper time.
I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of [His] chosen angels, to maintain these [principles] without bias, doing nothing in a [spirit of] partiality.
To Timothy, my beloved son: Grace, mercy [and] peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord on that day-- and you know very well what services he rendered at Ephesus.
Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.
persecutions, [and] sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium [and] at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me!
and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
I solemnly charge [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:
Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds.
But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion's mouth.
who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
And, "YOU, LORD, IN THE BEGINNING LAID THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH, AND THE HEAVENS ARE THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS;
And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,
Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Now the main point in what has been said [is this]: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,
And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN."
Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.
You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.
Is anyone among you sick? [Then] he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.
who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.
